Adam was born and raised in Flushing, New York.

Angela Parrish

Angela was born and raised in Maryland. She has always been pretty nerdy. 


How we met...
We met in Chemistry lab our freshman year of undergrad at Cornell University, because our last names are similar and we were seated at lab benches in alphabetical order. That's right, alphabetical order brought us together. We had almost the same schedule, too, because we were both biology majors, thus began the inseparable A-team. Exciting, huh? It turned out great for us!

Proposal: One ring to rule them all (because it rules!)

Adam had a custom ring made for Angela by an artist based in San Francisco (OctopusME) out of an octopus tentacle. With such an incredible ring in hand, he needed only to wait for the perfect moment. That moment was in the midst of watching LOST reruns and giggling about theories on the couch one Saturday night. Angela was surprised and excited when Adam got down on one knee.

From travel to hotels and things to do in Baltimore (like eating chicken and waffles), this page is your one stop info site. Once I compile all that information I will put it here.

Travel
If you are flying into Baltimore, I recommend flying into Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) since it is the closest. You can take a taxi to the hotel, or the Super Shuttle from BWI to the hotel. I recommend the Super Shuttle because it is cheaper, especially if you are traveling in a group. Just reserve your shuttle a week or two before your flight.


Hotel
We will be reserving a block of rooms at the Admiral Fell Inn in Fell's Point. If you wish to take advantage of the blocked rooms at the group rate, call 866-583-4162 and ask for the Parrish Pare Wedding Block. You will need a credit card to secure your reservation at the discount rate. 

This hotel is in a great location right on the harbor, in the midst of fun shops, restaurants, and bars. Max's Taphouse just across the street boasts the largest beer selection in Maryland.

Wedding Date and Location

The wedding will be on October 30, 2010 at the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore, MD in the wildflower garden, with reception to follow in the adjacent sculpture barn. AVAM is an art museum that features pieces by self-taught artists. It has fascinating art.
